Astro has spent over 3 months being professionally schooled by Lisa Coupe in the Waikato this year. He is a fabulous boy. He attended his first showjumping outing at a Takapoto Training day and was a super star.

He has just returned home.

Astro is magnificent 5 year old gelding by Andretti out of a Craighaven Leviosa x TB mare. We think he is just amazing. He is 'da man!' He is extremely athletic and definitely has the wow factor! He is definitely Young Rider plus material.

Astro was broken in early 2021 at Chester Farm in Paeroa, was schooled and then turned out for a few months. He was left entire with the hope that we could use him as breeding stallion however, after careful consideration we decided that gelding him was going to give him a much better life. He was gelded in early January 2022 and brought back into work.

Astro's sire is the magnificent Andretti and his dam, Trinity, is 3/4 sister to the WC Showjumper Rosthwaite Vigilante II .

He is an absolute pleasure to have around, beautiful temperament, super cuddly, great mind! One to watch out for in the future. Astro can sometimes be quite lively (not dirty at all) so needs a calm confident rider at this early stage.

Looking for a top level competition home for this special boy.
